Why microclimates matter
In the wild, a reptile moves constantly between layers of temperature, humidity, and light — basking here, cooling there, retreating to a humid burrow before a shed. Recreating that gradient, not just a single number on a thermostat, is the difference between an animal that survives an enclosure and one that thrives in it.
That's the standard we hold every habitat we sell to, and it's the first thing our staff walk through with a new keeper: not just what to buy, but where it goes and why. It's slower than ringing through a cart. We think it's worth it.
